A great day for a great guy!
Master of Ceremonies Joe Dryer |

Here's a table full of railroad talent. Mr. Jack Springer,
former Agent, Operator and Train Dispatcher for the New York Central sits on the
left, next to him is his son John, a New Haven based Locomotive Engineer, next
to John is Conductor Moe Burke (a former Agent/Operator himself) and on the
right is the legend of ol' New Haven East, Tower Operator Vinny Timmins.

More CTEC talent! Ben Perry on the left, next to him his the
man from all railroads Billy Thatcher, next to him his former voice of the Main
Line Desk Bill Millazzo and on the far right is Mr Groton Tower himself Mike
Irish.

The man of the hour,
John
Manning, on the right, with John Springer.

Three of the best -
John
Manning, who hired out as a car knocker at Dover Street Yard and finished
off his career as "The Boston Chief" with Jimmy and Ben.
